ITRC Guidance Documents Instrumental in Saving Time and Reducing Costs at Complex Superfund Site

The Air Force is using ITRC guidance documents to begin remediation efforts at two sites that were initially issued Technical Impracticability waivers in Maine. This will not only save money but will significantly reduce the cleanup time, originally estimated to take more than 300 years.
