(June 15, 2017) The National Ground Water Association (NGWA) will be holding their symposium Groundwater Solutions: Innovating to Address Emerging Issues for Groundwater Resources August 8-9, 2017, in Arlington, Virginia. The symposium will focus on real solutions to a variety of groundwater issues that affect our drinking water supply, and will create a forum for all those who work in and serve both the groundwater and drinking water communities.
Speakers include Maureen Sullivan, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Environment, Safety & Occupational Health in the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense, and James E. Woolford, Director of the Office of Superfund Remediation and Technology Innovation in the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Land and Emergency Management. ITRC Director, Patricia Reyes, is a Conference Committee Program Adviser.
Federal, State, and local regulatory employees will receive NGWA registration rates. Register by June 30, 2017 to obtain the $545 rate – rate will go up to $645 starting July 1, 2017.
