(October 14, 2016) During Fall team meetings in Denver later this month, the TPH Risk Evaluation team will be hosting a Petroleum Metabolites introduction session on Thursday evening, October 27th starting at 6:30pm in the Colorado conference room. The team leaders would like to welcome any ITRC members who are in town to sit in on these very informative talks. Co-TPH Risk Team leader, Tom Booze of California DTSC, will be hosting the talks and discussion. The first session, presented by Dawn Zemo, will discuss nature and estimated toxicity of polar metabolite mixtures in groundwater quantified as extractable TPH at biodegrading fuel release sites. The second session, presented by Ross Steenson of the San Francisco Bay Regional Water Board, focuses on accounting for metabolites at petroleum release sites. All ITRC members who will be in Denver are welcomed and encouraged to join the event.
