(September 7, 2018) ITRC is pleased to announce three brand new Teams starting in January 2019: 1,4-Dioxane, Harmful Algal Blooms (HABs), and Incremental Sampling Methodology (ISM) Update.
The 1,4-Dioxane Team will focus on addressing the detection, monitoring, and remediation of 1,4-Dioxane. The Harmful Algal Blooms (HABs) Team will address the states’ need for informational tools on prevention, best management practices, and risk communication of HABs. The Incremental Sampling Methodology (ISM) Update Team will work on updating the ISM guidance document that was published in 2012.
State staff interested in becoming a Co-Team Leader for any of the new Teams should indicate their interest to ITRC Director, Patricia Reyes, at email@example.com no later than September 21, 2018. Interviews for the Team Leader positions will be conducted by the ITRC Board in late September 2018.
Member registration for all of the 2019 Teams will start in early December 2018. The 2019 Teams will include:
- Harmful Algal Blooms (HABs)
- Incremental Sampling Methodology (ISM) Update
- Implementing the Use of Advanced Site Characterization Tools*
- Optimizing In Situ Remediation Performance & Injection Strategies*
